Picking The Right Pet
There are many factors to consider before buying a pet. Remember before
picking a pet : they are a living breathing being and they will need you to
care of them, you may want to think about these few things before choosing
a pet :
- Where do you live? Pick a pet that fits in your environment.
- How much time do you have to spend with a pet ?
- Do you have the space for a large or small pet ?
- Will your pet need to adapt to other animals and to other people in your household ?
- Do you have the financial meanings to properly take care of the pet you pick ?
A Healthy Pet
When owning a pet you want to make sure he or she is healthy. The following
are a few things to look for and if any of these things are present you
should contact your local Veterinary to have your pet checked :
~ Any discharges from the nose, eyes, or other body openings that are not normal.
~ Any abnormal behavior, sudden viciousness or tiredness.
~ Any lumps, limping, difficult moving or getting up or lying down.
~ A loss of appetite, weight losses or gains, or excessive water consumption.
~ Any abnormal or uncontrolled waste elimination.
~ Any excessive head shaking, scratching, licking or biting any part of the body.
~ A lot of dandruff, loss of hair, sores, or a dull coat.
~ Bad breath or excessive tarter deposits on teeth.
